“La cerimonia di premiazione degli Oscar 2024 si terrà domenica 10 marzo, in una delle notti più importanti per il mondo del cinema. Quest’anno, dopo anni di assenza, la diretta tornerà ad essere trasmessa sulla Rai, con uno speciale condotto da Alberto Matano. L’appuntamento è alle 23:30 su Rai1 e anche in streaming su RaiPlay. Durante la serata, verranno assegnate le ambite statuette in tutte le varie categorie, e tra i film candidati c’è anche “Io Capitano” di Matteo Garrone. In America, la notte degli Oscar verrà trasmessa in diretta sulla ABC, dalle ore 19:00, un’ora prima del solito appuntamento, mentre in Italia sarà l’1 di notte. A condurre la cerimonia per la quarta volta sarà Jimmy Kimmel, affiancato da molti divi di Hollywood che saliranno sul palco per proclamare i vincitori delle varie categorie, tra cui Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lawrence e Michael Keaton.
Oscar 2024: ecco i film candidati
American Fiction: un thriller politico ambientato in un’America alternativa, con Jeffrey Wright e Sterling K. Brown.
Anatomia di una caduta: un dramma psicologico sulla crisi di una donna che si ritrova a vivere con il suo ex marito, con Sandra Hüller e Vincent Lacoste.
Barbie: una commedia romantica che racconta le avventure di una bambola che prende vita, con Margot Robbie e Ryan Gosling.
The Holdovers: una commedia nera che segue le disavventure di un professore di liceo che si ritrova a fare da baby sitter a un alunno problematico, con Paul Giamatti e Da’Vine Joy Randolph.
Killers of the Flower Moon: un’epica storia di crimine e ingiustizia ambientata negli anni ’20, con Leonardo DiCaprio e Robert De Niro.
Maestro: un biopic musicale sulla vita e la carriera di Leonard Bernstein, con Bradley Cooper e Carey Mulligan.
Oppenheimer: un film storico sullo sviluppo della bomba atomica, con Cillian Murphy e Robert Downey Jr.
Past Lives: un film che esplora il “se solo…” e la vita che prende altre strade rispetto ai sogni dell’infanzia. Il titolo rimanda alla leggenda coreana che due amanti devono essersi incontrati almeno 8 volte nelle reincarnazioni precedenti per stare insieme in quella presente.
Povere Creature!: una commedia nera basata sul romanzo di Alasdair Gray, con Emma Stone e Mark Ruffalo.
La Zona d’interesse: un film drammatico che mostra la vita di una famiglia tedesca a Auschwitz, con Christian Friedel e Sandra Hüller.
La competizione si preannuncia serrata, con diverse pellicole che promettono di regalare grandi emozioni al pubblico. Tra le sorprese di questa edizione troviamo la candidatura di Barbie, che si candida come possibile outsider nella categoria Miglior film. Da non perdere anche Killers of the Flower Moon, il nuovo film di Martin Scorsese con un cast stellare, e Oppenheimer, un film storico di grande impatto visivo.
